It was a very clean place with an interesting history, which was gladly shared by the owner. Convinced even more when an officer checked on her in a most civil and friendly sort of way. Small town Hillsboro made just right... must visit!

I was headed home after a night out and decided to have 1 more drink. I stopped in and was greeted by the owner of the establishment while embarrassing myself by by asking her who the attractive lady was at the end of the bar. She stated it was her daughter and it was taken in the most respectful manor. And had a great conversation ensued with her and a few of her patrons.
Good service, friendly locals, cold beer.
Owner is very personable.
